Maternity Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for a part time night RVN, for maternity cover, who is highly motivated, caring and experienced to join our night team that currently includes a referral intern and working closely with our ECC vet and nurse.

Our primary care night team works closely with our ECC night team and we put an emphasis on training and development for all. CPD is encouraged and we run CPD clubs as well as having a generous CPD allowance

All our RVNs are highly valued members of the large team, consisting of over 60 nurses, students and Patient Care Assistants

Initially this would be a 6 months, part time, fixed contract to cover maternity leave.

Referral Registered Veterinary Nurse

Exciting opportunity to become a CT/MRI radiographer

We treat small animals (dogs and cats mainly) with a full range of medical conditions. Services  include soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, internal medicine, anaesthesia, dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery and ophthalmology. You would be primarily responsible for running the 1.5 T MRI and 64 slice GE CT scanners. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player who is keen to expand and adapt their knowledge into the imaging of veterinary patients. You would be working alongside our friendly team of veterinary radiologists and referral clinicians, and be responsible for protocol development and image acquisition. For this permanent, full-time position we are offering an annual salary of £32,000-35,000 with pension contributions and a generous continuing professional development allowance. Veterinary Internship Opportunities

Eastcott Vets and Eastcott Referrals run an rotating internship programme at our purpose built small animal Rotating internship opportunities

Annually we recruit approximately 6 well-motivated interns to work in our team to support our referral and first opinion teams. New graduates and experienced candidates will all be considered.

You will be part of a team of up to 6 interns starting in early June.

We offer:

  • 1 month induction
  • Structured development program on a 6 week rotating timetable
  • Direct supervision from RCVS recognised specialists in both surgery and internal medicine with additional time spent in ophthalmology and dental and oral surgery
  • Additional teaching sessions, seminars, journal clubs and opportunities to complete a clinical research project within allocated “off-clinics” time
