Surgical Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Referral Surgical Nursing Team.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to work amongst the surgery and theatre department including soft tissue, orthopaedics and neurology within our large multidisciplinary hospital. 

Day to day shifts include working amongst our surgery department, running theatres scrubbing in and monitoring anaesthetics on a wide range of interesting cases alongside our team of anaesthetists, clinicians and specialised nurses, allowing development of your nursing skills.  

The role is full time, although part-time may be considered for suitable candidates. You will cover 1 in 8 working weekends, a voluntary on call rota and 1 bank holiday a year. You will get 5 weeks holiday (pro-rata) and your birthday off according to start date. We also encourage and support all our referral nurses to complete an advanced nursing certificate.
