Jaw fractures are a common sequel to serious skull trauma in cats. They are often complex and both diagnosis and fixation present significant challenges. Part 1 of this two part presentation looks at the incidence and common patterns of maxillary and mandibular fracture and then reviews two common techniques of fracture stabilisation using dental composite and wire.
