Tamsin Williams

ECC Locum Veterinary Surgeon

Tamsin brings with her more than a decade’s experience in emergency and critical care medicine. Following graduation from Bristol University, Tamsin began her career in mixed practice before moving to companion animals where she has worked in small animal practice and set up and managed an out-of-hours service.

She was awarded a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellowship and began her doctorate at Cardiff University School of Medicine. In 2016 Tamsin successfully defended her thesis in Immunology and was awarded her PhD. She has subsequently returned to clinical practice working mainly in emergency and critical care.

She especially enjoys clinical pathology, particularly microscopy and haematology, which she finds complements her passion for ECC.
