Duncan qualified in 2001, and after working in small animal practice, he joined Eastcott Veterinary Hospital in 2007. He was awarded the RCVS certificate of small animal surgery (CertSAS) in 2006 and become a RCVS Diplomate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in August 2016. Duncan is particularly interested in fracture repair and joint replacement surgery. He is currently undertaking research into the role of hind limb alignment in the pathogenesis of patellar luxation. In November 2019 Duncan became Clinical Director of Eastcott Referrals and combines this role with working as an Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon.
