Duncan qualified in 2001, and after working in small animal practice, he joined Eastcott Veterinary Referrals in 2007. He was awarded the RCVS certificate of small animal surgery (CertSAS) in 2006 and become a RCVS Diplomate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in August 2016.
Duncan is particularly interested in fracture repair and joint replacement surgery. He is currently undertaking research into the role of hind limb alignment in the pathogenesis of patellar luxation, pelvic fracture and total hip replacement. He also travels to other practices to mentor surgeons in total hip replacement technique.
Duncan is happy to discuss or give advice on all matters relating to small animal orthopaedics.
