Jolene Lightman

Jolene graduated in 2014 from the University of Edinburgh. She spent a few years working in small animal general practice before undertaking a rotating internship at Davies Veterinary Specialists, where she developed a strong interest in advanced anaesthesia and analgesia.

Jolene then returned to general practice, working in a wide variety of first opinion and emergency clinics. In 2020, she took up the of role of Junior Clinical Training Scholar in Anaesthesia at the University of Cambridge. She then worked in both private and university specialist hospitals as a locum anaesthetist across the U.K. Jolene joined Eastcott Referrals in 2021 and is also involved in supporting and developing the rotating internship programme in the hospital.

Jolene is also a qualified yoga teacher and is involved in teaching yoga and meditation in the wider veterinary community.
