Pedro Alves

Pedro graduated from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2014. He first arrived in the UK in 2013, spending the last 9 months of his degree training in a busy referral hospital in Northumberland.

He returned to the North East straight after graduation to work in general practice. After three years in general practice split between Newcastle and Hull, he completed a rotating internship at Dick White Referrals (DWR), in 2019.

In June 2023, Pedro completed an ECVIM-accredited Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. In November 2023, he joined the Team at Eastcott Referrals. Pedro enjoys all aspects of Internal Medicine, particularly endoscopy and respiratory disease.
