Hannah van Velzen

Hannah graduated from Utrecht University, after which she spent 6 years as a general practitioner in Dorset. During this time she developed a keen interest in veterinary dentistry, heading her practices first opinion dental service and achieving the ESAVS Postgraduate Certificate. Having found her passion, she then joined the team at Eastcott as a Resident in Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Hannah is also the current secretary of the British Veterinary Dental Association and one of the assistant teachers at ESAVS.

Hannah lives in Dorset with her fiancé, their big black Labrador cross and two parakeets. When not at work she can be found reading, cross stitching, walking the dog or improving her surgical dexterity playing video games.
