How to apply eye drops

1. Lift the chin up slightly to help get a flatter ocular surface to aim for
2. Be calm, gentle and praise the patient
3. Aim to lift the upper eyelid slightly to create a pocket, using the back/side of your hand
4. Lean slightly on the patient with your hand to make it safer, as you will follow their movement should the animal move, making it less likely to accidentally poke them in the eye
5. Drop a single drop into the eye 1-2 cm from the eye (no closer)
