Lucy Johnson
Referral Dentistry and Ophthalmology Nurse
Lucy originally joined Eastcott in 2001 as a Nursing Assistant. In 2005 she began her training to become a veterinary nurse in 2005, qualifying in 2008.
In 2014, she moved to a smaller practice for a couple of years before returning in 2016 as a Referral Ophthalmology nurse. She had previously worked closely with our Head of Ophthalmology for numerous years and so was able to undertake the anaesthesia required for more complicated ophthalmic surgeries being offered.
Lucy has recently split her time between both the Ophthalmology and Dentistry departments and is enjoying the different experiences and challenges each of these areas bring. She has a keen interest in veterinary anaesthesia and has obtained her certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical Care.
Outside of work, she has two young children and two cats to keep her busy.
