Nicky Stokes

Nicky started her veterinary nursing career in 1998 and qualified in March 2001. Since qualifying she has undertaken various roles including Head Nursing and night work, and it is the night work that she seemed to navigate back to as she has a passion for inpatient care and emergency and critical care.

Nicky started at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals in 2018, and has been working nights throughout her time here. In 2020 she moved to nights within the ICU department which entails nursing critical patients and assisting in emergency cases alongside the veterinary surgeon.

Alongside the ECC side of my role, Nicky is a self-confessed crazy cat nurse and is currently studying feline behaviour.  She is often heard discussing my own feline friends and showing everyone photographs.
