Anaesthetic Considerations for the Neurological Patient

Anaesthesia of patients with intracranial disease can be challenging.  Therefore an understanding of relevant pathophysiology, pharmacokinetics, and the effects of anaesthesia is imperative.

In this CPD session Amy will examine the main nursing considerations when anesthetising these patients, including drug selection, monitoring, and potential complications that should be avoided.
