Rotating Internship - Eastcott

Would you like to work alongside Specialists at the cutting edge of veterinary care?

A Rotating Internship at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals provides an amazing opportunity for learning and personal development and can act as a stepping-stone towards small animal residencies and other postgraduate programmes.

As an Intern you would work with our Specialists in a variety of disciplines and be involved in providing some 24-hour inpatient care. Additionally, there is regular structured learning with seminars and CPD events. If you’re looking to gain in-depth experience and pursue further qualifications an Internship with us is the perfect way

Why join Eastcott?

Eastcott is one of the leading multi-disciplinary referral hospitals in the UK. Our state-of-the-art hospital is led by internationally renowned Specialists who are working at the leading edge of veterinary medicine and surgery. As an Intern you will gain experience with managing a range of cases.

Mentoring and Support

All interns are mentored by a senior member of the clinical team within the practice. Rotating Interns have monthly meetings with their mentor based around the internship workbook. This guides you in the creation of a personal development plan and reflection on your progress throughout the programme.

Benefits of an Internship with Eastcott

We are passionate about enabling you to develop yourself and your career. A high percentage of our previous Interns have progressed into discipline-specific internships and residencies. There are opportunities to progress into residency training across the group. Alternatively, we can support you to become a highly skilled clinician and progress your career within primary care practice.
