A Rotating Internship at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals provides an amazing opportunity for learning and personal development and can act as a stepping-stone towards small animal residencies and other postgraduate programmes.
As an Intern you would work with our Specialists in a variety of disciplines and be involved in providing some 24-hour inpatient care. Additionally, there is regular structured learning with seminars and CPD events. Mentoring and Support
All interns are mentored by a senior member of the clinical team within the practice. Rotating Interns have monthly meetings with their mentor based around the internship workbook. This guides you in the creation of a personal development plan and reflection on your progress throughout the programme.

Meet our Rotating Internship Director
Katherine Manchip
European Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology
Katherine joined the Eastcott Ophthalmology Team in October 2020, after completing her ECVO Residency at South Devon Referrals. She passed my specialist board exams in 2022. Katherine became Intern Director at the beginning of this year and is currently loving the role. Her aim is to support interns in their vital role within the wider hospital team, making sure they get exposure to all the different disciplines and supporting their educational and professional development.
