About us 

Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is an innovative, tier 3 multi-disciplinary referral and primary care hospital located just off the M4 in Swindon, Wiltshire. We are a gold standard cat friendly practice, passionate about providing exceptional patient care. We see cases from a variety of disciplines including orthopaedics, soft tissue, neurology, dentistry, ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, ECC and primary care. 

Your role and responsibilities 

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to rotate through a range of specialist departments within our large multidisciplinary Hospital. Rotations will include wards, medicine, imaging, dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery to include soft tissue, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery. This position will expose you to a wide range of interesting cases, allowing development of your nursing skills and knowledge in a variety of areas. 

The role is full time, with 1 in 8 working weekends and 1 bank holiday a year. You will get 5 weeks holiday and your birthday off each year. We also encourage and support all our referral nurses to complete an advanced nursing certificate.  

Hours: 40 hours per week, a mixture of 5 x 8 hour days and 4 x 10 hour days
